Aliboo is responsible for the business affairs of the Carnival group, advising on all commercial, legal and corporate aspects of its development, production, distribution and finance. She negotiates and contracts with talent, broadcasters, financiers and distributors together with any commercial entities with whom Carnival is involved. Aliboo provides support to corporate, creative and production management and oversees all residual and royalty obligations along with ancillary rights exploitation in respect of Carnival’s catalogue. After graduating from Edinburgh University, Aliboo converted to a law degree and qualified as a solicitor in the media team at S J Berwin. She later moved to The Simkins Partnership advising a variety of film and television clients, including Sony Pictures Television International, who she then joined as their sole Legal and Business Affairs advisor. Following her time at Sony, Aliboo became a freelance consultant, joining Carnival in September 2006. Aliboo is currently on maternity leave.
