6 hour mini-series for BBC and TNT Networks

A Sarin gas attack in London that results in the deaths of innocent American and British citizens is the start of a terrorist plot that concludes 150 days later with an attempted explosion of a ship laden with gasoline (with the aim of spectacularly disrupting shipping in the St Lawrence Seaway) and an attack on an oil company shareholders meeting in London.
Between these two events, THE GRID closely tracks the professional and personal lives of three American (NSC, CIA, FBI) and two British (MI5) counter terrorists, their family, friends and associates, as they collaborate to prevent the attacks and disrupt the terrorist network.
It also closely tracks the political motivations and personal lives of four fundamental, Islamic terrorists (Egyptian, Saudi, American and British), their family, friends and associates as they conspire to plan and execute the attacks.
The story gets under the skin of both the counter terrorists and the terrorists to understand their motivations and sacrifices as real people, not just participants, in today’s modern war.
