40 hours for BBC ONE

The BUGS team are electronic crime-busters who wield the power of the microchip. Equipped with the latest gadgets as well as their tremendous courage, daring and ingenuity – they are guardians of the 21st century.
They freelance, working for anyone on the side of justice; their clients are governments, global corporations and private individuals. Their enemies are corrupt politicians, international criminals, renegade scientists, dictators and megalomaniacs of all kinds.
There is no conversation the team can't eavesdrop on, no radio message safe from interception, no alarm system so sophisticated they can't by-pass it and no computer code too intricate for them to crack.
ED (Craig McLachlan / Steven Houghton) is a helicopter pilot, daredevil climber, and a martial arts expert; ROS (Jaye Griffiths) is as at home behind the wheel of a skidding car in a high speed chase as in front of a data screen, and BECKETT (Jesse Birdsall) is always risking his life; imprisoned in a flooded submarine, defeating hi-tech defence systems and defusing timebombs with seconds on the clock.
BUGS provides drama with entertainment for the widest possible audience. This fast paced, hi-tech action adventure series quickly became an international prime time best-seller, sold to 140 countries.
