Following a top rating third series, Hotel Babylon 4 is currently airing on Fridays at 9:00pm on BBC ONE.
The new series sees the arrival of Nigel Harman (EastEnders, Lark Rise to Candleford) who will set pulses racing as he checks into Hotel Babylon. Harman plays charismatic businessman Sam Franklin who turns up at Hotel Babylon in the midst of a London-wide crisis. Little does he know that his ex-wife Juliet, played by Anna Wilson-Jones, (Ashes to Ashes, Time of Your Life) has been newly appointed as Babylon’s General Manager. The new series will also see the return of the much loved regular cast including the affable everyman Tony (Dexter Fletcher) and glamorous sharp tongued Anna (Emma Pierson). Set against the seductive backdrop of a five star London hotel, the show will continue to offer a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyles of its outrageous guests and the behind the scenes drama of its well-loved staff.
The show first aired in 2006 and has achieved consistently strong ratings throughout its run. Season 1 and 2 of Hotel Babylon have aired on BBC AMERICA and the show has sold in 40 countries, including Australia, China, India, Iceland and Albania. Babylon has become something of a global brand.
